RIP Bob Simon: '60 Minutes' Correspondent Dies At Age 73 After Car Accident

This is so sad.

'60 Minutes' correspondent Bob Simon was tragically killed in a car accident, at the age of 73.

The New York Daily News broke the story, saying that Bob was in a cab on the West Side Highway in NYC when it was rear ended and slammed into a median.

He was immediately rushed to hospital, but died upon arrival. The cab driver as well as the other driver are said to be okay.

Both young men are extremely talented and would definitely be able to pull it off, but what do you guys think?

REVEALED: "Dancing With The Stars" Pros For Season 20!!

Now we just need to know the names of the celebs!!

On "Good Morning America" this morning, "Dancing With the Stars" revealed nearly all of the pros for the upcoming season. The final two will be revealed at a later date.

Those pros returning are:

Mark Ballas, Sharna Burgess, Kym Johnson, Artem Chigvintsev, Tony Dovolani, Peta Murgatroyd, Emma Slater, Val Chmerkovskiy, Allison Holker and last years champion Witney Carson. 

This upcoming season will also mark the departure of Cheryl Burke, and Derek Hough will also be sitting it out. 

The full celebrity cast is set to be revealed February 24th. This marks the 20th season of the program, and also the 10th year. They've previously aired 2 seasons per year.

Actress Rebecca Budig, who originated the role of Greenlee on "All My Children", is set to begin taping scenes on ABC drama "General Hospital" at the end of this month.

No word yet on her role.

Brian Williams SUSPENDED For 6 Months By NBC: Read Official Statement HERE

Well, he's lucky he didn't get his ass fired.

Saying what we're all thinking!!

NBC announced today that "NBC Nightly News" anchor Brian Williams has been suspended for 6 months without pay after lying about events that took place in 2003.

Williams said on air, January 30th of this year, that the helicopter he was in while covering the Iraq war back in 2003 was shot down. The NBC statement made by president Deborah Turness didn't hod back from blasting Brian for his actions:

“We have decided to today to suspend Brian Williams….for six months. The suspension will be without pay and is effective immediately. We let Brian know of our decision earlier today. Lester Holt will continue to substitute Anchor the NBC Nightly News.”

“While on Nightly News on Friday, January 30, 2015, Brian misrepresented events which occurred while he was covering the Iraq War in 2003. It then became clear that on other occasions Brian had done the same while telling that story in other venues. This was wrong and completely inappropriate for someone in Brian’s position.

“In addition, we have concerns about comments that occurred outside NBC News while Brian was talking about his experiences in the field.”

Williams had previously announced that he was taking some time off in the wake of his lies.

JUST IN: Jon Stewart Announces He's Finished With "The Daily Show"

It's been a magical 17 years!

Jon Stewart has announced that he will be stepping down as host of "The Daily Show".

Comedy Central confirmed the news via Twitter, with Jon making the announcement on the program during Tuesday's taping. He will remain anchor until the end of the year.
