Ugh.
Inspired by the classic 1990 movie of the same name, NBC has picked up the pilot for "Problem Child".
The 1990 film featured the late, legendary John Ritter in the lead role as a father tormented by his mischievous son.
The series will be brought to life by Scot Armstrong, who was responsible for writing "The Hangover 2", "Old School" and "Road Trip". It will also be a half hour, single-camera comedy.
No word yet on any casting.
The 1990 film is a cult classic starring the legendary Ritter and should be left alone.
RIP JOHN RITTER.
